In my last post about the Farmville strategy guide I mentioned how you could see video proof of how the author of the guide built his farm but, the real question is, do you really need a Farmville guide at all? I’m pretty well in the loop when is comes to social networking Facebook games such as Mafia Wars, Fishville, and many of the others. And all of a sudden you start to see FarmVille how to guides showing up all over the place and that kind of freaked me out.
I can see why you may need some strategy to get Mafia Wars going, but FarmVille, I mean, you’re just growing a bunch of crops, right? Who needs a strategy guide for Farmville?
I have to confess I hadn’t actually played Farmville, but how hard could it be, or so I thought. I tried playing it just so that I could say that I had actually played the game and so I knew the inside scoop and to sound more credible. To my big surprise, this game was a lot more complicated that I had first thought. Almost right from the start I was going broke and had zero crops, duh. Okay, now I admit it, there’s a lot more to this game than meets the eye.
I finally started to get some crops going and started to build a farm, but it really wasn’t going all that well and it was about at that point that I decided I should have a look at one of those Farmville strategy guides so I could figure out what the heck was going on. I mean, it couldn’t hurt because I was making a mess of my farm.
I finally decided to get FarmVille secrets, and believe it or not I fond some pretty decent tips in it. You can really mess up a virtual farm and I fond about every way to do that. I could hardly get to level 6 and had been playing for about 3 week already. But since reading the guide I downloaded now own a plantation and I have achieved level 26 that’s called the Sultan of Soil or something like that.
I still reference the strategy guide every now and then just to remember the great tips it contains and to see if there’s something I might have missed. If you just can’t get the hang of Farmville on Facebook, you should probably get this strategy guide and stop killing your crops and living in poverty.
