If you wanted to participate in the iPhone pre order today and wanted a white iPhone you were out of luck because they aren’t available. And even if you wanted a black iPhone for quite some time those weren’t available either.

It seems that Apple was having a few technical difficulties because of the flood of people wanting the new iPone 4. The toll free 800 lines got so jammed up that it defaulted to an automated message telling would be customers to try later. I’m sure Steve Jobs and other Apple execs just love to know that literally millions of dollars of sales will have to wait until tech support gets on the ball and fixes whatever the heck is going on.

If you decided to head over to Best Buy or Radio Shack and place your pre order then everything was okay. The problem was apparently the way Apple’s order servers were talking to AT&T order servers and things got pretty hosed up in the process and no one, at least when trying from Apple was able to pre order the new iPhone.

Which brings up to the other story about the only black iPhones being available as of order time. All we have to say is, bummer! People are complaining that the white iPhone 4 isn’t avilable, but I thought I saw a commercial where there were about 5 different colors available. There doesn’t seem to be any mention of that anywhere now.

What’s the point in the rush anyway? If you want a new iPhone, just wait a couple of weeks and I’m sure everything will be fine and you will get your precious phone.

This past Sunday evening was the premier of Kourtney And Khloe Take Miami Season 2 and the sisters once again give out their advice on everthing Miami, from style, where to shop, where to dine, where to club, where to have fun and how to raise a baby.

The show will also feature Khloe’s boyfriend and baby maker Scott Disick who is not too much liked by Kourtney and loves to party and spend money, like on a new $200,000 Ferrari. Hey, isn’t that what people in Miami are supposed to do. Anyway, the show promises to be fun and viewers will get even more of an inside look into the lives of the babes made famous by OJ lawyer Robert Kardashian.

Video gaming is taking one big step soon with the announcement of the Microsoft Kinect motion control system for Xbox. And the beauty of this motion control system over the Wii is that there isn’t any device to to fumble around with, it is completely hands free.

The system, formerly named Project Natal, was shown off Sunday evening June 13 at the UCLA Galen Center to a hoopla of entertainment ala Cirque du Soleil. Motion control works by 2 or 3 cameras triangulating your position and then feeding your position and the position of your limbs back to the machine. In other words, you can play driving games by pretending like you are holding onto a steering wheel. You can play tennis by holding a virtual tennis racket and of course play all kinds of running and fitness games by simply running in place, no sensing mat needed.

The system is scheduled to be out by the Christmas 2010 shopping season which translates to some time in November. Of course there are always final tweeks and distribution logistics to work out before the release actually happens. Hopefully however, we will see Microsoft Kinect in time for Christmas.
